Information Sessions for Prospective Families (Various Dates)

February 4 - March 18

Attending this session is an important first step in the registration process. We want to ensure that ECS aligns with your family’s expectations, as not all Christian schools are the same. This is a great opportunity to clarify any questions and understand how our mission and values resonate with your goals for education.

Learn about our Christ-centered approach to education, which aims to challenge students to play their role in God’s story. We’ll discuss our mission, core values, and unique program designed to support students’ academic, spiritual, and personal growth. You’ll also hear about the partnership between ECS families and the Edmonton Society for Christian Education (ESCE), which helps create a strong, supportive community.

Reminder: Enrolment at ECS is not first-come, first-served. Attending an information session is required before moving to Step 2 in the registration process. Regardless of whether you register with ECS on February 3rd or March 19th, you will have the same opportunity for enrolment at ECS as all other newly registered students.

Additional Info:

If the session dates at one school don’t work for you, you’re welcome to attend a session at the other school. While the locations differ, the content will be the same.

All sessions will begin at 7:00 PM and will last approximately one hour, with additional time for questions at the end.

  • West School: Kindergarten to Grade 9 (14345 – McQueen Road)
  • Northeast School: Kindergarten to Grade 9 (5940 – 159 Avenue)
  • High School: Grades 10 – 12 (14304 – 109 Avenue) *
*The information session for high school families will be held inside the West School.

What You’ll Receive:

At the virtual session, a link will be shared for a PDF file with important documents. This will include:

  • Documents that summarize the information shared during the presentation.
  • Our Partnership Agreement and Statement of Faith forms. These forms are for your review and will need to be returned after you receive confirmation of enrolment, if space is available for your child(ren).

Attendance Requirement: 

One parent/guardian is required to attend, but both are welcome!
 
After the Session:
  • If Edmonton Christian Schools is the right fit for your family, proceed to registration. (Step 2)
  • Enrolment at ECS is not first-come, first-served. Regardless of whether you register on February 3rd or March 19th, you will have the same opportunity for enrolment at ECS as all other newly registered students.
  • The deadline to register for ECS is March 19th at 4:00 PM. You will receive confirmation of enrolment by April 30th directly from the school at which you register, if space is available for your child(ren).
