It was a dinner fit for a King! Last week, (March 17 – 20) a number of students and staff from Edmonton Christian High School helped with a dinner to raise money for a humanitarian effort. The following Thank You Letter (click link) received from Social Justice Matters Refugee Response Collective gives you an idea of what the students and staff did and how much it was appreciated.
It seems pretty clear on the faces of the participants that there is much joy in serving others. Such is God’s story. This Easter, once again, we remember the King whose service led to a cross on a hill, and we celebrate his healing resurrection. We give thanks as a school community that we can be part of such a joyful story.
