There is a beautiful new addition to the front entrance at West School, The Story Wall.
The Society has invested in creating this installation as a visual retelling of our treasured past, blessed present, and desired future. The design was developed with local artist and ECS alumni, Marina Hulzenga, and with input from Society staff, Suzanne Knol, and a few parents. Marina has a professional background in exhibit and spatial design and we feel she really helped bring the vision and mission of ECS to life in this new Story Wall.
The Story Wall is intended to be interactive in that it gives teachers a new place to gather with their students; to talk about Deep Hopes, playing our role in God’s story, God’s faithfulness through the generations, Throughlines, and more.

It is a place for discussions and lesson opportunities. Students, staff, and visitors can use the provided cards to write their own Deep Hopes and there is a place to leave completed cards on the wall.
